What is an open procedure (above threshold)?
Any interested supplier may submit a tender in response to an opportunity notice. This procedure can be used for procurements above the relevant contract value threshold. Contract is suitable for SMEs?No Contract is suitable for VCSEs?No DescriptionThe requirement is for the provision of private rented sector properties leased to the council for the provision of short- and medium-term accommodation for families who are homeless. The properties must meet a minimum specification as detailed within this tender. Under the Scheme, private-sector landlords will make available up to 100 furnished or unfurnished properties (the tender quote/ value should reflect whether the properties are provided furnished or not) of between one and three bedrooms for use as temporary accommodation for the homeless. This is through entering into two-year block contracts for specific properties and when required the potential of a further mini competition to extend the block contract. More information
