Brief description:
Fleet Services are Sandwell MBC's in-house fleet maintenance operation.
Based at Waterfall Lane in Cradley Heath, Fleet Services provides fleet maintenance and repair for Sandwell MBC, other public bodies, and private sector contracts.
With a fleet size of over 1000 items, there is a huge variety of vehicles and equipment.
Key Requirements
o Full UK HGV (Category C or C+E).
o Hold a BTEC National Certificate in Automotive Engineering (ONC) or equivalent.
o Take part in an out-of-hours breakdown service.
o Level 3 NVQ Automotive Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience working in a heavy commercial vehicle workshop.
o LGV License: Unrestricted Category C.
o F gas license.
o Forklift operator's license.
o Tail lift LOLER certification.
o Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement.
Please have the agencies send over a CV, two up-to-date references, and a copy of the Terms and Conditions. You will also need to include your agency's cost details in each submission. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs.
No DBS is required for this role.
