    Description

    2.1. Kingstown Works Limited (KWL) was established in 2006 and undertakes Building Maintenance and Construction work within Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire.

    2.2. KWL is a Company controlled by Kingston upon Hull City Council as defined in Section 68 of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989.

    2.3. KWL are seeking a supplier to provide building materials for a new build site of 27 Houses at Gleneagles Park, Hull, it is expected that work will commence in June 2024 with works expected to be completed November 2025. More details of the expected completion date of the project will be provided during the pre-start meeting with the successful supplier.

    3. SPECIFICATION

    3.1. We are seeking to appoint one supplier for the design and supply detailed below:

    3.1.1. Lot 1 - CLS Timbers Estimated Value £15,000

    Various sizes totally 850Lm

    3.1.2. Lot 2 - Staircases Estimated Value £30,000

    27no. Staircases to 6 different designs

    3.1.3. Lot 3 - Plywood & OSB Sheeting Estimated Value £4,500

    Various types and gauges totally 383sqm

    3.1.4. Lot 4 - Flooring Chipboard Estimated Value £17,000

    Various, types and gauges totally 1114sqm

    3.1.5. Lot 5 - MDF Timber Estimated Value £25,000

    Various skirting and window board

    3.1.6. Lot 6 - Loft Hatch Estimated Value £6,750

    Prefabricated insulated loft hatch; Access Panels;
    Approx size 725x550mm; including all trimming
    and fittings as manufacturers package.
