CSA Catapult would like to explore the capabilities of multi-purpose fibre assemblies. The assembly's purposes will include, but are not limited to, fibre to integrated chip, fibre to package case, fibre to lens, and fibre to detectors.
Multi-purpose fibre assembly is crucial for the entire photonics industry in the UK. CSA Catapult would like to explore this capability to provide services to customers, enabling a faster prototype development cycle.
